{"id":411944,"date":"2023-02-08T20:11:07","date_gmt":"2023-02-09T01:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/ca\/?post_type=news&#038;p=411944"},"modified":"2023-02-09T02:23:24","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T07:23:24","slug":"lakers-to-acquire-russell-beasley-and-vanderbilt","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/lakers-to-acquire-russell-beasley-and-vanderbilt\/","title":{"rendered":"Lakers to acquire Russell, Beasley and Vanderbilt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three NBA clubs &#8211; the Los Angeles Lakers, the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Timberwolves, are all swapping point guards and more in a three-team trade involving eight players, according to ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>The Lakers will acquire D&#8217;Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt from the Timberwolves, while Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones and a lightly protected 2027 Lakers first-round pick will be sent to Utah.<\/p>\n<p>The Jazz. however, are sending Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to Minnesota, which will also receive draft picks.<\/p>\n<p>The Jazz are expected to buy out Westbrook once the trade is completed.<\/p>\n<p>According to another media reports, the LA Clippers are interested in Westbrook should that come to pass, which could mean Westbrook doesn&#8217;t have to leave Los Angeles.
