Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has been ruled out for between six and eight weeks with a knee injury.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 36-year-old former France goalkeeper sustained ligament damage in Spurs’ 1-0 win over champions Manchester City<\/span> in the English Premier League on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last month, Lloris, who captained France to World Cup victory in 2018, announced his retirement from international football.<\/span><\/p>\n

The North London side have former Southampton and England international Fraser Forster as back up while the academy players Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman are other options.<\/div>\n
