But he hasn\u2019t featured for the Yanks since the Concacaf Nations League victory at Cuba in November 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019d like to welcome Tyler to the LA Galaxy,&#8221; head coach and sporting director Greg Vanney said in a release. &#8220;Tyler is a highly motivated player with a wealth of experience, a high work rate and a capacity to finish attacks. We look forward to integrating him into the team this season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The move comes after Samuel Grandsir joined French League 2 leaders Le Havre while Kevin Cabral was traded to the Colorado Rapids.<\/p>\n<p>Boyd made 35 appearances for Besiktas, scoring four goals and adding one assist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"oc-c-body-part oc-c-body-part--text \">\n<p>He also played for Portuguese top-flight side Vitoria de Guimaraes and A-League side Wellington Phoenix during his well-traveled career.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"oc-c-body-part oc-c-body-part--text \">\n<p>LA open their 2023 season with an El Trafico clash against defending MLS Cup champions LAFC at the Rose Bowl on Feb. 25.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The LA Galaxy have signed winger Tyler Boyd, who was last under contract at Turkish giants Besiktas, the MLS club announced.
