Los Angeles Lakers\u2019 goal of reaching the postseason is still alive despite LeBron James\u2019 injury.<\/p>\n
Lakers coach Darvin Ham said Tuesday that James is still going through medical tests before the team makes a decision on how long the NBA\u2019s career scoring leader may be unavailable. He picked up injury his right foot Sunday in a victory over Dallas.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll wait and see what our medical people come back with,\u201d Ham said before the Lakers\u2019 game against the Memphis Grizzlies.<\/p>\n
The Lakers currently sit in 12th place, outside the playoff picture. However, they are only a half-game behind the 10th-place New Orleans Pelicans for the last spot in the play-in field, and 2 1\/2 behind Dallas for the sixth-place slot that would guarantee a postseason berth.<\/p>\n
