Entering 2022, most expected Smith to be a stopgap, replacement-level starter for the Seahawks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"nfl-c-body-part nfl-c-body-part--text\" data-min-tv-running=\"true\">\n<p>However, he shined from the jump.
