Medical personnel rushed to the plate, and Turner was bleeding and had a towel on his face as he walked off the field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-342 p Component-p-0-2-332\">Turner\u2019s wife, Kourtney, posted to Instagram that the infielder had \u201c16 stitches and a lot of swelling but we are thanking God for no fractures &amp; clear scans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-428639 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/turner-wife-573x1024.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" width=\"573\" height=\"1024\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-342 p Component-p-0-2-332\">\u201cHe\u2019s receiving treatment for soft tissue injuries, and is being monitored for a concussion,\u201d the Red Sox said in a statement. \u201cHe will undergo further testing, and we\u2019ll update as we have more information.
