Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his concerns over the lack of creativity in the Real Madrid squad after an unimpressive 0-0 draw against Real Betis on Sunday. The result meant that the team from Madrid are trailing 9 points to Barcelona and as things stand are highly unlikely to retain their domestic crown from last year.<\/p>\n
This is also Real third-consecutive game without a win after drawing Atletico Madrid 1-1 and succumbing to Barcelona midweek in Copa del Rey.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m upset more than angry. It\u2019s strange we\u2019re not scoring,\u201d Ancelotti told reporters. \u201cIt\u2019s not normal that a team with this much quality didn\u2019t score more than one goal in the last three games. It does upset me, a lot.”<\/p>\n
\u201cThe players are also disappointed because we\u2019ve got the quality to score and we\u2019ve always done it. I think our attack is a problem right now. We need to be more clinical and deliver more.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Italian coach, however, refused to write off his team’s chances of winning the league and vowed to fight until the end.<\/p>\n
