Definitely one of the bigger ones I have scored,\u201d Jones said afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI told myself I was going to shoot on it, but when I crossed the blue line I saw his angles were a little off. I figured I had to go backhand with it, so it worked out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scott Harrington scored two goals for the Ducks for the first time in his nine-years old career and, fittingly, he did it against his former team, where he played for six years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a guy that\u2019s not known for scoring or putting up points, but to get a couple is awesome for him, and his teammates on the bench were cheering them on,\u201d Ducks coach Dallas Eakins said of Harrington, who has a total of 10 goals in the NHL, having made 246 appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Troy Terry and Ryan Strome each had a goal and assist, while Trevor Zergas and Max Comtois also added their name to the scoresheet to help the Ducks end their two-games losing streak. Goaltender Lukas Dostals made 38 saves.<\/p>\n<p>Patrik Laine had a goal and an assist for Columbus, which becomes the first team to get eliminated from postseason contention.
