Memphis star guard Ja Morant has made a public statement, where he apologises for the mistakes he has made, referring to the shot-gun incident on March 4, which forced the NBA officials to act and subsequantly give the 23-year old an eight-game suspension.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m completely sorry for that,\u201d Morant said after practice. \u201cSo, you know, my job now is, like I said, to be more responsible, more smarter, and don\u2019t cause any of that no more.\u201d<\/p>\n
The eight game period ended with Memphis win over Golden State Warriors on Saturday, but questions are still being asked when would Morant make his comeback to the floor. Head-coach Taylor Jenkins expressed his hopes that Morant, would be able to play in Grizzlies’ next game against Houston on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
But the 23-year old underlined his status is still “in the air”.<\/p>\n
