Lamar Jackson<\/a> has publicly requested a trade from Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, implying that his current team \u201chas not been interested in meeting my value.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here’s what he wrote on Twitter:<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAny and everyone that\u2019s has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win the super bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many believe that the public announcement’s goal is either to hinder the Ravens to match another team’s offer or simply to attract the interest of other competitors.<\/p>\n

If Jackson were to make a deal with another team and the Ravens don\u2019t match, that team would owe Baltimore two first-round draft picks.<\/p>\n

Head-coach John Harbaugh spoke about Jackson\u2019s situation on Monday at the league\u2019s owners meetings in Phoenix.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t seen the tweet. That\u2019s an ongoing process,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cI\u2019m following it very closely, just like everybody else is here, and looking forward to a resolution. I\u2019m excited, thinking about Lamar all the time, thinking about him as our quarterback. We\u2019re building our offense around that idea.\u201d<\/p>\n
