Fulham manager Marco Silva has received a further fine for his post-match comments aimed at referee Chris Kavanagh after his team FA Cup 1\/4 final exit against Manchester United on March 19.<\/p>\n
Fulham were at the receiving end of an extraordinary turn of events in their 3-1 loss at Old Trafford. The London team looked set for a shocking 1-0 win, before Willian, Aleksandar Mitrovich and head-coach Silva all received red cards in a matter of seconds and of top of that the Cottagers conceded a penalty as the game was turned on its head in the closing stages.<\/p>\n
After the game, Silva lashed out at match officials, claiming that both side were not treated equally.<\/p>\n
The FA have now charged the Portuguese boss with misconduct for comments that ‘imply bias and\/or the question the integrity of the match official, and\/or bring the game into disrepute’.<\/p>\n
This comes in addition to his previous misconduct which is abusive behaviour aimed at match officials and allegedly throwing a water bottle at the assistant referee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
