Ruud Gullit has claimed that Wout Weghorst is not good enough for either Manchester United or Holland.<\/p>\n
The Manchester United striker, who joined the club on loan in January has found the net only twice in 18 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n
As for his performances for the national team, they are equally disappointing as the 30-year old yet again failed to score against minnows Gibraltar, who are ranked 200 in the world, despite having three clean chances.<\/p>\n
In Gullit’s view these kind of statistics are unacceptable due to the high standards required both at United and in the national team.<\/p>\n
‘I have a lot of admiration for him, but at the same time, I think he is not good enough for Manchester United and the Oranje,’ he said.<\/p>\n
Weghorst himself didn’t hold anything back when ask to give an honest opinion of his own performances.<\/p>\n
‘Ultimately, it’s also quality. You have to be honest about that too. You can call it bad luck, but that last ball of mine was allowed in. As a striker, you know that you can score in these kind of competitions.’ he said.<\/p>\n
