We were better than expected, especially in Jeddah \u2013 I think it was a Nice surprise, so we arrive here with a good level of confidence,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut\u2026 after a few events, from now on, I think the cars will change a lot in a few areas, and a few developments, so let\u2019s see if we can keep this pace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if Aston Martin could be considered a 100% podium-finishing car Alonso was a bit cautious with the answer, as he pointed out there is inevitably going to be a change in performance once racing resumes in Europe in late April and mid-May.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot yet. I think we have to wait and see. Also I think very soon, from Baku or Imola, we will see the teams changing a few parts on the cars and maybe that changes also how competitive you feel, so let\u2019s wait and see.\u201d the 41-year old replied.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, his teammate, <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/lance-stroll\/\">Lance Stroll<\/a>, gave updates on his injuries.
