General manager Dave Ziegler was also a part of the New England team as an executive.<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of Hoyer comes just at the right time for the <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/circuit\/las-vegas\/\">Las Vegas<\/a> team as they are looking to have a backup for Jimmy Garappolo, after losing <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/player\/jarrett-stidham\/\">Jarrett Stidham<\/a>, who joined rivals <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/team\/denver-broncos\/\">Denver Broncos<\/a> as a free agent.<\/p>\n<p>Hoyer has featured in 15 consecutive NHL seasons, being the Patriots\u2019 backup quarterback for the past three campaigns.
