{"id":432980,"date":"2023-04-10T05:36:57","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:36:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/ca\/?post_type=news&#038;p=432980"},"modified":"2023-04-10T05:36:57","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:36:57","slug":"blue-jays-edge-out-angels-12-11-in-10-innings","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/blue-jays-edge-out-angels-12-11-in-10-innings\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Jays edge out Angels 12-11 in 10 innings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Toronto Blue Jays narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday as Matt Chapman and Kevin Kiermaier both had 5 RBI&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Chapman hit a grand slam in the sixth and Kiermaier doubled home the tiebreaking run in the 10th for the Blue Jays, who came from 6-0 down before blowing a late four-run lead in a crazy turn of events.<\/p>\n<p>With Cavan Biggio absent, Kiermaier hit a ground-rule double down the right-field line off Carlos Estevez (0-1) for the go-ahead run. Kiermaier, who also had a two-run triple in the sixth and a two-run single in the seventh, then scored on George Springer&#8217;s base hit to make it 12-10.<\/p>\n<p>The Angels loaded the bases with two outs in the 10th.
