It\u2019s a lot better than Vancouver, I can tell you that for free.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s a lot better than Vancouver&quot; \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n<p>Bo Horvat on the support from Islanders fans <\/p>\n<p>(\ud83c\udfa5: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IslesMSGN?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@IslesMSGN<\/a>)<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5ZRHWrt3if\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/5ZRHWrt3if<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Hockey Night in Canada (@hockeynight) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hockeynight\/status\/1644905522817036290?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">April 9, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>However, that didn&#8217;t go well with Vabcouver supporters as they saw an unforced dig at the club, with which he had spent 9 seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Horvat said on Monday that he meant to harm and the comment was a product of his current emotions back then.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t mean any disrespect to the fans of Vancouver, the teammates or city of Vancouver at all,\u201d he commented<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn\u2019t directed at them at all. (Islanders) fans were all excited, and I was excited to be in a playoff push and it was just kind of one of those things where my emotions got the best of me, and I was just really happy to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horvat signed with the Islanders this January after talks for a contract extension with his former team fell out last year.
