The New Orleans Pelicans will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA play-in tournament, but unfortunately for them they will be without their star player Zion Williamson, who is still nursing a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n
Willimson recovery is expected to last couple of more weeks, meaning he is due to miss not only the play-in match, but also to the first round should the Pelicans proceed there.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom what I\u2019m told, the Pelicans believe he\u2019s not even close, to getting back on the floor,\u201d said the Athletics Shams Charania.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no expectation from the Pelicans that he will be on the floor at any point in the first round of the playoffs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williamson last featured on January 2 and has played only 29 games this season, missing all of Pelican’s last 55 matches.
