Manchester United dominated the entirety of Sunday’s game against Nottingham Forrest and only the heroics from goalkeeper Keylor Navas saved the home team from total demolition.<\/p>\n
However, one situation caused much speculation in the first half, when at 0-0 a crossed ball from the corner flag landed on Harry Maguire’s hand. The video referees reviewed the situation, but deemed it legitimate and not worthy of foul play.<\/p>\n
Many have disagreed with the decision and were surprised that the match official wasn’t even given the chance to look at it on the screen. Among them was the ex-Manchester United captain and club legend Roy Keane.<\/p>\n
The 51-year old stated that Maguire wouldn’t have much right to complain if the decision went the other way round but expressed his sympathy with the defender, who was unfortunate enough to score an own goal.<\/p>\n
‘He probably deserves that luck. You would feel for him,’ Keane told Sky Sports.<\/p>\n
‘They\u2019re (United) all battling, if he gives the penalty you wouldn\u2019t complain too much.<\/p>\n
