The New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton will miss the next 10 days with hamstring injury, the team announced on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The 33-year old will be having an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s see what the MRI says,\u201d manager Aaron Boone said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s moving around OK after the game but he definitely like it was before even getting the MRI that was an IL stint. We\u2019ll see what we got.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stanton is no stranger to injuries as he was absent for the majority of the 2014, 2017 and 2018 seasons, and this is 5th consecutive season, troubled with some sort of injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously he\u2019s got an awesome build and physique,\u201d Boone said when asked why Stanton gets injured so frequently.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe works very hard to try and avoid these things but unfortunately is something that\u2019s happened with him. So I don\u2019t know. \u201c<\/p>\n
