Panthers will have the 1<sup>st<\/sup> choice on April 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That was a decision he made alone,&#8221; Scott said at the team&#8217;s pre-draft news conference. &#8220;I just refer you to his reps and Bryce as to the why.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The other prospect for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> pick in the 2023 NFL Draft is Ohio State, QB C.J. Stroud.
