The head of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali thinks there is no danger of “cannibalism” between the three USA races of the world championship.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Austin race was joined by the Miami race, and this season Formula 1 will return to Las Vegas<\/a> with a night race in November. An option for a fourth start in the States is already under discussion, and Domenicali expressed confidence that these races can exist without interfering with each other.<\/p>\n

In order to preserve the differences between the individual American starts, in Las Vegas<\/a> they focused on attracting more affluent spectators, and in Austin it will be the only one of the American races where there will also be a sprint race.<\/p>\n

“It’s clear that every race, not only in America, has its own look, a different cultural approach, a different group of fans,” Domenicali explained during a video meeting with investors. – Sometimes we forget that only two years ago we wondered if it even made sense to hold a competition in the States. But thanks to our persistence, we are here now. Last year we held two races in the US, this year we are adding one more.
