Based on this numbers he is considered as one of the top running backs in the draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s an impactful player; he\u2019s a home run hitter,\u201d said Smith of Robinson.<\/p>\n<p>The selection of a running back has stirred some controversies, as the modern era emphasizes much more on the quarter back position and waits later in the draft to address the position.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously I understand the running back position has been looked at as a less-than position, but for me it\u2019s a blessing,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing a guy that can play running back, play receiver, being versatile,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an opportunity to do the same thing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Atlanta Falcons have chosen RB Bijan Robinson as their eight overall pick in the NFL draft.
