Chelsea are set to offer Mauricio Pochettino the managerial job by Saturday night as senior figures of both parties are holding a meeting at Los Angeles at that time, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The former Tottenham and PSG boss is red-hot favorite to became the Blues next manager as the London team is in desperate search for a new manager for almost a month after sacking Graham Potter in early April.<\/p>\n
Pochettino already held talks with Chelsea representatives on Monday and it is believed that they have reached an advanced stage.<\/p>\n
The 51-year old is without a job ever since leaving PSG in the summer of 2022 and is eager to get back on the touchline.<\/p>\n
If the offer fails then the option in front of Chelsea remain Burnley’s Vincent Kompany and another still unknown name, believed to be in the running.<\/p>\n
It is not clear if Chelsea appoint a new manager before season’s end what would the future of interim boss Frank Lampard look.<\/p>\n
