The PGA Championship has announced on Wednesday that it will be gathering all of the top 100 players to the Oak Hill event, starting on May 18.<\/p>\n
The only one missing from the top 100 is Will Zalatoris, who has undergone a surgery to his lower back.<\/p>\n
Kerry Haigh, the chief championship officer for the PGA in America, made a promise back in February that invitation will be send to players from all tours in order to assemble a highly competitive field and he certainly stuck to his word.<\/p>\n
The field consists of 18 players from Saudi-funded LIV Golf, as well as 18 players from the 89-men list at the Masters last month.<\/p>\n
Tiger Woods will miss the event due to an ankle surgery, he underwent last month, which is likely to keep him out of play for the next two majors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
