The Minnesota Twins announced on Saturday that outfield Max Kepler will be sidelined for up to 10 days with a hamstring strain he picked up in Thursday’s game.<\/p>\n
At first Kepler left the game with alleged cramp, but it was later discovered that it is actually more serious.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were hoping Kep obviously wouldn\u2019t need to go on the IL,\u201d Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said. \u201cHe got an MRI and the MRI seems OK. But he\u2019s still pretty tight, and we don\u2019t think he\u2019s going to be able to play for a handful of days.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Twins have recalled outfield Trevor Larnach to take Kepler’s place, while the outfielder is returning back to fitness.<\/p>\n
