Bryson DeChambeau is officially leading the PGA Championship after Erik Cole returned to Oak Hill on Friday and sent his first shot on the sixth hole into the water.<\/p>\n
DeChambeau is currently 4-under 66 and is one shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler, Dustin Johnson, Corey Conners and Cole himself.<\/p>\n
The first round was initially suspended on Thursday night after darkness fell onto the field, along with two-hour heavy frost.<\/p>\n
Despite that, things normalized fairly quickly and the PGA Championship got underway as scheduled in the 2nd round with 30 players completing their first round.<\/p>\n
Justin Rose chipped in for birdie on his last hole for a 69 to round off the 16 players who broke par in the opening round.<\/p>\n
