Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. blasted La Liga’s authorities after his team 1-0 loss to Valencia, where he was targeted for racial abuse.<\/p>\n
The Brazilian received a straight red for violent conduct deep into stoppage time as he clashed with Hugo Duro.<\/p>\n
This came as a consequence of Vinicius being racially abused by the home crowd and he turned the referee’s attention to it.<\/p>\n
“The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano and Messi today belongs to racists,” Vinicius wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n
“It wasn’t the first time, nor the second, nor the third. Racism is normal in La Liga. The competition thinks it’s normal, the federation does too and the opponents encourage it.<\/p>\n
“And unfortunately, for everything that happens each week, I have no defence. I agree. But I am strong and I will go to the end against racists. Even if far from here.”<\/p>\n
