{"id":436490,"date":"2023-05-23T01:20:09","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T05:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/ca\/?post_type=news&#038;p=436490"},"modified":"2023-05-22T23:44:27","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T03:44:27","slug":"nfl-allow-limited-flexible-scheduling-for-thursday-night-games","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/nfl-allow-limited-flexible-scheduling-for-thursday-night-games\/","title":{"rendered":"NFL allow limited flexible scheduling for Thursday night games"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday nights in the NFL have always been the most difficult in made-for-TV schedule, because of a prime-time slot that raised.<\/p>\n<p>Now the league will have the power, albeit limited, to change the matchups.<\/p>\n<p>NFL owners approved Monday a flexible scheduling policy for Thursday night games on Amazon Prime Video, for Weeks 13-17 only with at least 28 days\u2019 notice given to the affected teams.<br \/>\nThe league now has the right to reschedule a Thursday night matchup in that range to Sunday afternoon if there\u2019s a more desirable game, a mechanism currently in place for Sunday night and Monday night games.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Just in: NFL owners have approved allowing Thursday Night Football flex-scheduling, per <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamSchefter?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@AdamSchefter<\/a>.
