Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll has expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership deal with Honda as their main engine supplier from 2026.<\/p>\n
Stroll was fully convinced that his team has made the right decision in bringing back the Japanese engine supplier after they stepped away from the sport in 2021.<\/p>\n
\u201cWelcome Honda to our Aston Martin family,” he said at the Honda Global press conference.<\/p>\n
“A partnership with Honda is a hugely significant moment for Aston Martin. Honda is a global titan, and its success in motorsport, especially in F1, is long standing and impressive. ”<\/p>\n
\u201cOur partnership with Honda is the final piece in the jigsaw to establish Aston Martin as a top team, capable of winning titles,\u201d Stroll added. \u201cCombined with our new campus, we are giving the team all the tools it needs to win.\u201d<\/p>\n
After a bright start to the 2023 campaign the green cars will certainly be looking to bolster their chances of a title challenge with the new power unit.<\/p>\n
