The choice was made at the Congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation, which took place in Tampere (Finland) today.<\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s competitor was Kazakhstan, but the European country won with 75% of the vote (102 delegates) against 34 for the former Soviet republic. Norway was also among the candidates to host the tournament, but withdrew in January.<\/p>\n<p>The World Cup will be held in Mannheim and D\u00fcsseldorf from May 14 to 30, 2027.
