The NBA has assigned Scott Foster as match official for the final Game 7 between the Heat and the Celtics.<\/p>\n
Tony Brothers will be his assistant, while Foster serves as chief crew. They will be joined by John Goble to round up the whole crew.<\/p>\n
The two men are among the most popular referees and sometimes that has backfired. Foster for example was voted in a survey as the worst referee in the league by players, receiving more than 25% of the vote. Brothers, on the other hand, is more versatile as he received votes at both ends.<\/p>\n
Interesting fact is that when Foster officiates a match this season, 70,7% of the games go in favor of the home team, which is a career-high. The Last match he was in charge was Game 4 of the series and it was a Celtics win over Miami.<\/p>\n
