Juventus are set to pay \u20ac718,000 as part of the compensation to the Italian authorities over their case of irregular payments, which eventually saw the Old Lady proven guilty.<\/p>\n
The team from Turin was deducted 10 points last week and the settlement means that the two side agree there will be no further penalties applied.<\/p>\n
The Italian Football Federation(FIGC) handed out individual fines to several members, including former vice-chairman Pavel Nedved and ex-sporting and managing director Fabio Paratici.<\/p>\n
Juventus released a statement, where they say the agreement will allow the club to achieve “definite results” and deal with “state of tension and instability”.<\/p>\n
It also gives opportunity for better planning for the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n
Juventus were initially handed a 15-points deduction, which was overturned in April to be re-examined.<\/p>\n
The latest 10-points deduction means the Old Lady dropped back to 7th without a chance for the Champions League spots. However, they could still qualify for Europa League as they travel to Udinese for the final round of the Serie A.<\/p>\n
