In Barcelona, the team faced a difficult race, with both <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/fernando-alonso\/\">Fernando Alonso<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/lance-stroll\/\">Lance Stroll<\/a> finishing behind Mercedes and Ferrari in the head-to-head battles on the track, and Aston Martin had nothing new for the Spanish Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the media, Alonso urged Aston Martin to speed up the process of updating the AMR23, as the team&#8217;s rivals have made a number of improvements to their cars in the last two starts and this has affected their performance.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fernando is absolutely right to push us to develop the car and to use new elements &#8211; commented team boss Mike Krack. \u2013 We will have some new things in Canada.
