Matthew Tkachuk scored the tying goal for the Panthers late in regulation time after Brandon Montour had reduced the deficit to 2-1.<\/p>\n<p>Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves, while his opponent Adin Hill stopped 20 shots, but unfortunately for him let the only one in overtime slip through his hands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormally that\u2019s a shot that we\u2019re going to give up, get the save and move on,\u201d Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t like an odd-man rush through the middle so I didn\u2019t mind the way we defended it. &#8230; I mean, they\u2019ve got good players. They\u2019re going to make some plays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Marchessault and Mark Stone scored the two goals for Vegas, both in power play.<\/p>\n<p>The Golden Knights still lead the series 2-1 and look favorites to clinch the Stanley Cup final, despite their setback.
