I don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to sink in for quite some time what happened today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old curled in an 11-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to finish with 17-under. He compiled that with 6-under 66 on the final day.<\/p>\n<p>Fleetwood needed a birdie to win in regulation, but failed to do so and that gave his opponent the edge.<\/p>\n<p>With his win Taylor becomes the first Canadian since Pat Fletcher in 1954 to clinch the Canadian Open.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nick Taylor was triumphant at the Canadian Open in a spectacular fashion against Tommy Fleetwood on Sunday.
