Katie Boulter has officially replace Emma Raducanu as the British No.1 woman player after a solid run in the Surbiton Trophy, which saw her reach the 1\/2 finals.<\/p>\n
Boulter will hold the No.1 spot for the first time in her career this week, when she starts the Nottingham Open.<\/p>\n
All this was possible due to Raducanu’s heavy injuries, which have kept her out of play in the last month or so.<\/p>\n
“Naturally, I am very proud to join the women before me who have reached that historic spot,” Boulter said.<\/p>\n
“However, my main goal remains on improving my ranking and continuing to work hard. ”<\/p>\n
