That may as well mean he will have to wait until August until there is a team up for grabs, reports suggest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just got official word, <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/player\/deandre-hopkins\/\">DeAndre Hopkins<\/a> is in New England, he\u2019s meeting with the Patriots,\u201d Jeremy Fowler of ESPN said on Thursday morning. \u201cHe will meet with the coaches, Bill Belichick and the Patriots\u2019 interest remains high. I\u2019m also told that Hopkins is not in a major rush. He\u2019s looking at more training camp, even early August as more of a harder deadline for him to sign somewhere. So it\u2019d have to be a very sweet offer for New England to make that happen today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins made 35 appearances for the Cardinals the last three season, notching 221 receptions for 2, 696 and 17 touchdowns.
