The Finn set the best lap at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit at 1:18.728 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Second, at 0.447 seconds away, was the home representative <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/lance-stroll\/\">Lance Stroll<\/a> with Aston Martin. Third was <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/fernando-alonso\/\">Fernando Alonso<\/a> also with Aston Martin. The Spaniard&#8217;s time was 1:19.807 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>World champion <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/max-verstappen\/\">Max Verstappen<\/a> with Red Bull remained in fifth position in the standings. At the beginning of the session <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/pierre-gasly\/\">Pierre Gasly<\/a> faces technical difficulties and his car stopped on the track.
