The Spaniard lost his position from the line, but managed to regain it after the first round of pitstops after an excellent maneuver into the chicane.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton completed the podium as he tried his best to get back at Alonso at the closing stages, but fell short.<\/p>\n<p>The Ferrari of <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/charles-leclerc\/\">Charles Leclerc<\/a> and Carlos Sainz followed suit in P4 and P5 on a fine recovery drive, as Perez made it home in 6th with the fastest lap to his name.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/formula-1\/driver\/george-russell\/\">George Russell<\/a> had a day to forget, as he crashed in the opening stages of the race, forcing out a Safety Car.
