West Ham have reportedly declined a second bid from Arsenal for their captain Declan Rice.<\/p>\n
The England’s international has been a long-time target for the Gunners, who are keen on luring him to the Emirates.<\/p>\n
It is believed the second offer is around \u00a375m, spread over four payments. However, the Hammers are adamant on a larger fee and shorter payment time, as they already refused Arsenal’s first bid last week.<\/p>\n
Rice stepped up in the senior’s West Ham squad in the 2016-17 season, coming off the team’s youth academy and since then has bagged 15 goals in 245 appearances. The 24-year-old still has an year left in his contract with an option for extension until 2025, which puts the team in primer position for demanding larger fee.<\/p>\n
