Max Verstappen won his 41st victory in Formula 1, which put him equal with the legend’s Ayrton Senna race-win tally.<\/p>\n
However despite the huge honor, Verstappen took a moment to appreciate his current on-track rivals in the face of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, with whom he shared a podium for only the third time in history after Qatar 2021 and Australia this year.<\/p>\n
The iconic trio has a total of 11 world championships and 176 wins.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember, back in the day, I was watching these two already in Formula 1 racing each other, right,” Verstappen said. “So, of course, very happy now that I\u2019m in Formula 1 as well and racing them is probably the best thing out there.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we can share a podium together, I think we\u2019ve done it now a few times, I think it\u2019s great. I think of course they want to swap positions, of course. I’m happy in the middle at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
