Derek Carr expressed his turbulent emotions concerning his former club Las Vegas Raiders, which he left in the offseason.<\/p>\n
Carr started 142 games with the Raiders in nine years and was infamously benched with two matches remaining at the end of last season.<\/p>\n
The quarterback now addressed the issue, stating that he felt “mad” as he wanted to play in those games more than ever.<\/p>\n
It was also revealed the Raiders would have been on the hook for $40 million that would become guaranteed money if Carr couldn’t pass a physical.<\/p>\n
In his nine years with the team Carr threw for 35,222 yards, 217 touchdowns and 99 interceptions. While the Raiders went 63\u201379 during that stretch, Carr led 33 game-winning drives and 28 comebacks while being named to four Pro Bowls.<\/p>\n
