Carlos Sainz has spoken about his future in Formula 1 and shared that wants to sign a new contract with Ferrari, as his main goal is to one day become world champion with the team.<\/p>\n
The Spaniard’s current contract runs until the end of 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m not going to lie. I don’t like going into the last year of my contract not knowing where I’m going to compete after that. I went through this process with both Red Bull and Renault. I know full well that this is not ideal for any athlete or pilot. That’s just not right. That’s why I set this winter as a starting point to try to figure out my future,” Sainz said ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
“My priority and main goal is to one day win the title with Ferrari. I think I’ve said it many, many times. That’s why I will prioritize this issue this winter. If that doesn’t happen, it will be time to seek my luck elsewhere.
