The Liverpool legend has been without a job ever since receiving the sack from Aston Villa back in October last year.<\/p>\n<p>The 43-year-old becomes the latest high profile name to be attracted to the Middle East, which has acquired Karim Benzema, Ruben Neves, N&#8217;Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy this transfer season alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Steven Gerrard has officially been appointed as Al-Ettifaq manager.
