Redblacks did not acknowledge how the quarterback incurred the injury.<\/p>\n<p>The QB was making his 1<sup>st<\/sup> Canadian Football League start and finished the match 14-of-20 for 185 yards and 1 TD. Adams also had 31 rushing yards.<\/p>\n<p>Tyrie appeared collegiately at Western Carolina and was born in Florida.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Redblacks?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Redblacks<\/a> QB Tyrie Adams continued to play vs. the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Elks?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Elks<\/a>, even though he had an ACL injury. Adams told coach Bob Dyce his parents were at home watching on TV and knew he was injured.
