Basketball veteran Dwight Howard dreams of return to the NBA and thinks he can show he can be an imposing figure on the floor.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do want to make it back to the NBA. I can still play,\u201d Howard said in an interview with Complex. \u201cDefinitely want to show teams that I can still dominate even at being this age and still play at a high level and come back out on top.\u201d<\/p>\n
At 37 years of age, Howard remains confident that he can not only bring a quality presence off the bench to most NBA teams.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, I personally in my opinion believe that you have an upper echelon of centers that\u2019s playing now and obviously, I\u2019m not at my peak so people would consider me at this playing stage as being upper echelon,\u201d Howard said. \u201cBut I know that there\u2019s at least 15 to 20 teams that I could play for. And I know there\u2019s teams that got great starting centers, but I know I could be a great backup center.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI know I can provide a team with 25 minutes of dominant basketball. And that\u2019s not even scoring, that\u2019s just playing defense, locking people up, protecting the paint, rebounding, and finishing around the basket. I\u2019ve had my fun in the game. I just want to go out like a champ like I\u2019m supposed to.\u201d<\/p>\n
