Max Verstappen clinched yet another victory on Sunday at the British Grand Prix, which was Red Bull’s 11th straight win, underlining the team’s dominance.<\/p>\n
With it they equal a record set from McLaren in 1988 and have a chance to better it next time in Hungary.<\/p>\n
In the post race, the Dutchman took a moment to heap praise on his team’s spectacular achievement.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, very happy that we won again,\u201d he said. \u201cI mean, 11 wins in a row for the team, I think that\u2019s pretty incredible, but it wasn\u2019t straightforward today.”<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce I\u2019d passed Lando, it took me a few laps to cool down the tyres, and after that I think we had good pace,\u201d added Verstappen. \u201cI think the last 10, 15 laps on that stint, we were nine seconds in the lead again, which I think was very good.\u201d<\/p>\n
Verstappen registered his 6th consecutive win, a feat achieved only by 4 other drivers in the past – Alberto Ascari, Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg.
