The world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz shared his expectations of his upcoming match with Russian Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals of Wimbledon.<\/p>\n
“Medvedev is playing well here on grass and is having a great season. Our first match on grass I lost it. So I have to remember that. But let’s enjoy the semi-finals. I think now I am showing an excellent game, I am full of confidence in my abilities. So we have a great match ahead of us, which I will enjoy,” Alcaraz told a press conference.<\/p>\n
He added that the Russian successfully combines all aspects of the game and surprises with how he manages to hit shots.<\/p>\n
In the 1\/4-final match, Alcaraz defeated Denmark’s Holger Rune in three sets, while Medvedev prevailed over USA’s Eubanks in four sets.
