Christian Horner is convinced that his driver Sergio Perez will overcome his recent woes, which saw the Mexican miss out on a top 10 finish in qualifying on five consecutive occasions.<\/p>\n
With his recent dip in form Perez now finds himself 99 points off his teammate Max Verstappen approaching the halfway stage of the season in Hungary, having trailed by only 6 after 4 rounds.<\/p>\n
Despite all that, his boss Horner offered his full backing by stating:\u00a0 “He just needs to break it now. He\u2019ll do it in Budapest, I\u2019m confident.”<\/p>\n
“I think he\u2019s the type of guy that just needs an arm around his shoulder. You work with him and that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing.” Horner added.<\/p>\n
“We\u2019re supporting him, we know he can do it, we know he\u2019ll get back there, and we\u2019re just trying to make sure it happens as quickly as possible.”<\/p>\n
