The 32-year-old underwent MRI test, which revealed no damaged and his condition will be monitored day by day.<\/p>\n
Gausman is 7-5 with a 3.03 ERA in 19 starts. The two-time All-Star signed a five-year, $110-million contract with Toronto before the 2022 season.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old has played also for Baltimore, Atlanta, Cincinnati and San Francisco.<\/p>\n
Chris Bassit will take Gausman’s place for the game.<\/p>\n
